SOLEK Mini Kilat Review!

 Assalamualaikum ♥

Breathable nail polish had been a game changer in this beauty industries especially among Muslim women who loves having their nails colour but didn't have to worry about the pain of washing off their nails whenever they want to perform their prayer.

Honestly I am not a fan of nail polish since I need to wash it off with the nail polish remover and sometimes it is hard to clean it thoroughly. I am more to inai kinda girl - it's safe, plant based, halal and I love the red orangy colour on my nails! 😍

So the other day, I discover someone on the gram wearing this nail polish, it is from SOLEK. Let me tell you about this brand first, it is a halal Malaysian cosmetics brand that was launched in 2016. They have a variety of make-up products under the brand from bb cushions, to eyeliners and lip care as well as their range of nail polish aptly named Kilat by SOLEK.

I was so excited when I see all the colours and started to imagine my beautiful fingers with those! Haha. So I ordered myself the Mini Kilat 2.0. It has mini size nail polish (of course) with 4 beautiful colour! The packaging is beautiful to me, it is simple yet it attract me to try this. So the colours are beautiful, I love Asam because of that natural pink look - it make my nails look healthy, and Binjai since I love glitters so much and sometimes you need that extra glitters to make your day brighter 😊

This nail polish has a peel-off formula which sound great in theory but unfortunately, I having difficulties to peel it off. I was so excited and quickly apply it as soon as I get my hand on them, and forget to remove it before I go to bed. So when I need to perform my Subuh prayer, I was peeling and peeling but it was so difficult till I need to use nail polis remover to actually remove it thoroughly.

I don't know what went wrong because most of the comments said that it will be easy peasy. You just peel it off, sound so great at first. But on the bright side, I love their wide brush applicator, it makes me easy to apply and also I really love their colour - they have lots of beautiful colour range from nude to natural to bright and glitters! (Asam and Binjai definitely gorgeous!)

Price? It's RM49 for 1 nail polish and this set cost you RM69 only.
But good news, if you would love to purchase this, they are having promotion now. Each nail polish will be RM35 and this set will be RM49! Yup very affordable!
