Resepi : Ayam Masak Paprik

Assalamualaikum ♥

These past two days, my husband keep telling me to cook Ayam masak paprik and our plan for having it for dinner always flush down the toilet. Haritu nak masak, beras tak ada. Nampak tak betapa jarangnya masak dekat rumah ni sampai beras habis pun tak perasan 😅

So since yesterday my MIL had give us some rice, so harini kita masak lah. I prepared the ingredients before I went to bed and cook it this morning. Nampak tak efficient bila work from home ni? Haha. Rajin masuk dapur. Tapi bagus masak dekat rumah musim musim COVID ni, selamat lah sikit kan dari makan dekat luar. 

So without further delay, let's see the recipe! This is my version of ayam paprik!
It's very simple and straight forward! 

Ingredients
300g chicken (I preferred chicken breast)
2 tablespoon of chili paste/cili boh
2 tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
2 tablespoon of chili sauce
1 1/2 sweet soy sauce/kicap manis (I preffered ABC Kecap Manis)
1 lemongrass (diketuk)
2 lime leaves/daun limau purut
1 chili pepper/lada merah (slightly sliced)
2 cloves of garlic (sliced)
1 onion (sliced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/5 onion (sliced)
Vegies (Carrot, baby corn, cauliflower, tomatoes & long bean)
Oil for cooking
Salt & sugar
Water 

Directions
Heat up the wok with some oil. Not too many. Add the garlic and stir fry until fragrance follow by the chili paste.

Add on the chicken breast and continue stir fry with medium heat.
Then add on all the sauce along with some water. After that, add the rest of the ingredients and stir until it well blend and the sauce is thick.

When the chicken is cooked, dish out and serve it with steamed rice.

Simple right?
If you love your dish to be spicy, you can add some bird eyes chilies/cili api and 1 tablespoon of tomyam paste.
